There is a lot to be thankful for here at Belcher School! I am very thankful for the talented staff that takes such good care of our students! I am thankful for our wonderful students, who greet me each day with warm friendly smiles. I am thankful for the hard-working Belcher School families who bring so much to our school community.
In the upcoming weeks, teachers will be reaching out to families for fall conferences. Some have even started. This is an opportunity to see how your child is doing in school. Staff will review the Chicopee Public School’s report card with you. You will also hear information on how your child is doing based on fall assessment data and material from your child’s classroom. Please feel free to ask questions during this conference as well as raise any concerns that you may have. We strive to make sure that all of our teachers meet with 100% of our students, so please make sure you arrange a conference. If you need help with this contact your child’s teacher or me. Please try your best to be on time for your conference, and if for any reason you cannot make your appointment please please call your child’s teacher.
There will be a Thanksgiving Bingo for Books here at Belcher on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, from 6 pm – 7:30 pm. Please join us for this FREE fun event. Students will play Bingo with Thanksgiving words. Students win books when they complete a ‘Bingo’. A simple snack will be shared by all. This event is co-sponsored by the Title I department and the Belcher School PTO.
We are actively planning our Belcher School Winter Event….coming in Winter. Please look for information as it becomes available. If you would like to help our committee of dedicated teachers and parents with this event please contact me. We would love your support!
