Dear Families,

It is hard to believe that it is already June. The last day of school will be June 22, 2018.  Here at Belcher School we are extremely pleased with all of the energy your children have put into their academic work. It has been wonderful working with your children. Belcher School is a special place!

The best way to ensure that your child does not lose skills learned over the year is to READ READ READ. Encourage your child to read. If you would like a list of suggested books please request one from your child’s teacher. The public library has a wonderful summer reading program as well.

When school starts up in the fall please keep your eyes open for a list of bus stops. These will appear in the newspaper. We do not notify parents directly.  If you are not sure of your child’s bus stop you can always call the school. Class lists will be mailed home in August.

As we get closer to the start of the next school year some students may feel anxious about moving up to the next grade level. Once class lists are published I would be happy to show your child their new classroom. Just call the day you plan to visit to make sure I am in the building.

With that being said I want to wish all of our Belcher families a happy summer vacation and I look forward to working with you and your children next fall.
